Jonathan W. Emord - The Rise of Tyranny

Johnatan W Emord, esq.The Rise of Tyranny, by Jonathan W. Emord, (Sentinel Press), relates largely for the first time, the history of private industry's successful manipulation and virtual takeover of a key government regulatory agency, the Food and Drug Administration. Operating well outside the principles of the Constitution, the FDA has become its own judge and jury as it creates new rules, enforces them and then judges their alleged violations. Unlike many other regulatory agencies, the book uncovers the unscrupulous back stories to many of the decisions made by the FDA ultimately determining the life and death of millions of U.S. citizens. Well and fully documented, The Rise of Tyranny details FDA corruption, abuse of powers and private industries unprecedented influence that have proven to be not only dire for the economy, but has caused grave consequences for public health. In an open challenge to Congress and an honest effort to fully inform the public, The Rise of Tyranny exposes widespread corruption within the FDA and the unchallenged monopoly and level of influence that the pharmaceutical industry enjoys in much of the FDA's decision making processes. That unprecedented influence has successfully blocked legislation against its own interests and secured passage of legislation in its favor time and time again. In fact, the book points out that no other industry throughout history has come to enjoy more legal protection from competition than the pharmaceutical industry.  The Rise of Tyranny is available from Sentinel Press $24.95/ $33.95 Can  http://www.sentinelpressshop.com/.
